Research Positions, Swedish Institute for International Affairs — LIMITE : 03/02/2014

The Swedish Institute of International Affairs is looking for Researchers, preferably at the postdoc level, to join our Europe and Russia programmes, respectively. Temporary positions are open for applications within the themes of EU external relations and Russian external relations.

The positions are part of UI’s Special Research Programme on International Studies, funded by the Swedish Foreign Ministry. UI researchers adhere to high standards of scientific quality, and are required to publish internationally in peer-reviewed scientific journals and books. As a researcher at UI, you are expected to participate in our research seminars, and work together with other UI researchers on joint projects.

You will join our Europe or Russia programme, depending on which theme you apply to. In addition to scientific research, which constitutes the bulk of your work, you are expected to participate in UI’s public events and in policy practitioner dialogue. This includes writing policy briefs and popular science articles, providing expert advice, and providing commentary to the news media.

Applications are reviewed by the Programme Board, whose members are appointed by the Swedish Government.

Please see the Call for Applications for more information on the positions and how to apply.
