Call for applications for the AGYA International Bilingual Summer School  

This year’s topic is „In Search for the Reader. New Approaches to Practices, Functions and Histories of Reading in Arabic Literature, Arts, Media and Culture“.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, it will be held online.

The international english-arabic Summer School is part of a larger project “Towards Multi-Perspectival Arabic Studies” which has a twofold aim: the exchange of perspectives between colleagues in the field of Arabic literature (in the broad sense) who are based in Germany and other European countries and in the Arab world as well as fostering the use of Arabic as an academic language.  
As part of the research activities of the Arab-German Young Academy of  Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) it is funded by the German Federal  Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF).

The DEADLINE for application is 30 April 2021.
