Appel à candidature : Post-doc fellowship Collège d’études mondiales and Program in Economics and Philosophy — LIMITE : 01/11/2013

A post-doc fellowship is offered at the newly created Institute for Global Studies in Paris, College d’études mondiales (http://www.college-etudesmondiales.org) in connection with the Franco-Swedish Program in Economics and Philosophy.

Applicants should have a PhD in economics, philosophy, or political science. Research projects focused on democratic theory, future generations, welfare economics and theories of well-being, social choice theory, public economics , social justice, health, inequalities, and poverty, will be considered in priority.

The post-doc fellow will be based at CEM but will also be given the opportunity to develop links with Stockholm University and the Swedish Collegium of Advanced Study (SCAS). The position involves 75% research and 25% administration. The fellow is expected to take the main responsibility for running the Franco-Swedish programs seminar series (see http://johanegustafsson.net/psep/) and in the organization of the program’s workshops, conferences, and visitor’s scheme, and to liaise with the administrators at CEM and SCAS regarding such matters. (The working language of the program is English and knowledge of French is not necessary albeit an asset.)

The duration of the fellowship is 12 months.
