The Department of Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam is looking for two PhD candidates who will participate in the NWO-funded research project ‘Sexuality and the making of the middle class. A comparative study of desire and status in three African countries’, from Rachel Spronk.
The two PhD candidates will be based in Amsterdam at the Amsterdam Institute of Social Science Research and will conduct up to 12 months of fieldwork in Ghana or in Senegal.
