Call for a Morocco based Research Assistant for one of the LSE Collaboration Projects.
The position is for an Research Assistant to contribute to the project Personalised Media and Participatory Culture, a LSE Middle East Centre project on the opportunities for practices of youth participation across the Middle East and North Africa. The project is run in collaboration with the American University of Sharjah. As part of the project, a Research Assistant will carry out fieldwork in Morocco.
This is a short-term paid position for a duration of 2-3 months. It includes a trip to London programed for September 2016 to participate in a methods and methodology workshop with the other RAs (we are also hiring RAs in Tunisia, Jordan and Morocco). It does not need to be full-time position, part-time candidates will also be considered. Candidates will be required to conduct ethnographic research which includes interviews as well as focus groups. Knowledge of qualitative methods and online and offline youth networks in the Morocco is desirable.
