The Department of International Relations at Özyeğin University invites applications for two posts (one assistant professor, and one associate/full professor) to begin in September 2016.

We are interested in candidates working in one or more of the following fields: international organizations, international law, comparative political economy (development), political institutions, and state-society relations. A research profile that includes a regional focus would be desirable. Applications from outstanding candidates working in other areas will also be considered.

Candidates must have an active research agenda with a publication record appropriate to their academic level, excellent teaching skills with demonstrated effectiveness, and a track record of service to the field. Successful candidates must have the Ph.D. in hand or have fulfilled all requirements for the degree by the start of the appointment.

Candidates need to send a cover letter explaining their research and teaching experience, a current curriculum vitae including names and contacts of at least two references, one sample publication/working paper, and a teaching portfolio with one sample syllabus and a summary of teaching evaluations.
