The School of History, Archaeology & Religion wishes to appoint a part-time (30%) fixed-term (10 months) lecturer to cover the research leave of a member of staff. Applicants for the post should have, or be close to obtaining, a PhD in a relevant area and have the ability to deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with particular reference to Islam in the contemporary world. The appointee will also be expected to contribute to the life of the school, including carrying out administrative duties .
Salary range: Grade 6 £32,227 – £35,256 pro-rata

Cardiff University reserves the right to close the pool earlier should
sufficient applications be received.
