This is a fixed-term position limited to the project period 1 May 2015 until 31 May 2017. Job description: Scientific services in research writing articles for the field of Islamic Studies to be published in the intercultural and comparative encyclopedia of foundations in medieval societies. Requirement: An excellent doctoral degree in the field of Islamic or Middle Eastern Studies, Arabic, Iranian or Turkish Studies; excellent command of languages relevant to the historical sources and good command of English – at least reading knowledge of German
