Full Professorship in Iranian Studies, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris (France) ⎯ LIMITE: 31/03/2015

The appointed Professor will be a specialist of Iranian Studies. All areas of expertise are welcome, with a preference for Classical, Modern or Contemporary period (in literatures, history and cultures, social sciences etc. applied to the Iranian world). The knowledge of modern Persian language at near-native level is expected, as well as fieldwork experience in Iran. The appointee will teach in French at all levels, especially M (Master). Applicants must hold a PhD and a Habilitation (or equivalent) degree.
