Visiting Assistant Professorship in Arabic Language, Washington & Lee University (États-Unis) — LIMITE : 31/10/2014

Washington and Lee University invites applications for a three-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professorship in Arabic language, beginning 1 July 2015.
Area of sub-specialization open; Ph.D. in Arabic language or related fields (e.g. Comparative Literature or NELC) preferred. Comprehensive mastery and fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and English required.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated success in teaching Modern Standard Arabic to undergraduates at all levels in a North American or liberal arts context. The teaching load is six courses per year across two 12-week terms and one 4-week term. Representatives from the University will be available to discuss this position at the MESA meeting in Washington, DC on Sunday 23 and Monday 24 November.
