Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics of the Middle East (tenure-track), University of Nevada Reno (Etats-Unis) — LIMITE : 17/10/2014

The Department of Political Science at the University of Nevada, Reno is soliciting applications for a tenure-track, full-time appointment at the rank of assistant professor to begin in the fall semester of 2015.

We are looking for an applicant whose primary area of expertise is focused on the comparative politics of the Middle East. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with complementary expertise in political economy, democratization and human rights. Applicants with training in qualitative research methods and the ability to teach graduate level qualitative research methods will also be given consideration in the search process. The selected applicant will be expected to teach at all levels (lower-division undergraduate, upper-division undergraduate and graduate M.A./PhD).

Applicants should show strong research and grant potential. Ph.D. in Political Science Comparative Politics Middle East specialization Applicants must have the Ph.D. in hand by August 15, 2015 for appointment as an Assistant Professor.
