Teaching Post-Doctoral Fellow, Comparative Politics or International Relations: Middle East, Syracuse University (Etats-Unis) — LIMITE : 01/10/2014
|The Department of Political Science seeks a teaching post-doctoral fellow in Comparative Politics or International Relations, with research and teaching focus on the Middle East. The fellow’s duties will include teaching two or three courses annually and participating in the research and programming activities of the Middle Eastern Studies program. The political science department is housed within the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, which is committed to citizenship education at the undergraduate level and to graduate education in public affairs and the social sciences. We seek candidates who complement the broader Maxwell mission and have interdisciplinary interests. Successful candidates may be invited to affiliate with the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs or one of Maxwell’s other interdisciplinary centers (http://www.maxwell.syr.edu/centers/). The initial appointment will be as a one-year, non-tenure track appointment with a start date of January 2015 or August 2015 and with the possibility of renewal for additional years.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in political science, earned in the past three years, or should have a credible expectation of completing all requirements for the Ph.D. by August 2015.
