Appel à communications : 8th European Conference of Iranian Studies, Saint-Pétersbourg (Russie), 15-19/09/2015 — LIMITE : 01/11/2014

The 8^th Conference of Iranian Studies of the Societas Iranologica Europaea (SIE) will take place in Saint Petersburg at the State Hermitage Museum and at the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts from Tuesday September 15^th to Saturday September 19^th, 2015 and is organised by Pavel Lurje and his team.

Proposals for presentations that relate to any aspect of Iranian Studies are welcome. Should you decide to present a paper, please complete the pre-registration form available on the conference website http://ecis8.orientalstudies.ru/. Abstracts of no more than 1500 characters should be sent by November 1, 2014 to the organizing committee at the following e-mail address: ecis8@yandex.ru.

On the occasion of the ECIS 8 the SIE Prize will be awarded for an outstanding Ph.D. (or equivalent) dissertation, published or unpublished, in any field of Iranian Studies, completed and successfully defended at any European academic institution between April 1^st, 2011 and December 31^st, 2014.
