Lecturer of International Studies, Georgia Southern University (Etats-Unis) — LIMITE : 23/06/2014

The Center for International Studies invites nominations and applications for the position of Lecturer. Georgia Southern University (www.georgiasouthern.edu), a member institution of the University System of Georgia and a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University, is one of Georgia’s premier universities. A residential university serving more than 20,500 students, Georgia Southern is recognized for providing all of the benefits of a major university with the feeling of a much smaller college. Founded in 1906, the University offers more than 100 campus-based and online degree programs at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral levels through eight colleges. The more than 900 acre park-like campus is located in Statesboro, a classic Main Street community near historic Savannah and Hilton Head Island.

Within this setting, the Center for International Studies is committed to providing students with significant educational opportunities offering an international perspective—opportunities that recognize the economic, social, and ecological concerns, and the urgent need for more effective methods of international and intercultural cooperation. The Lecturer is expected to contribute content and teaching expertise to the Center’s academic degree programs.

Occasional attendance at the Center’s outreach functions, including Open Houses and Recruiting Events, is also expected.
