The Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies
The Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies at New York University invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track position as Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow to begin September 1st, 2014, pending budgetary and administrative approval. The appointment will be for one year, renewable for a further two years. We are looking for an outstanding junior scholar in any social science or humanities discipline whose research offers a critical perspective on the contemporary Middle East and would complement the strengths of our existing faculty in Middle Eastern Studies. We are especially interested in receiving applications from women and minority candidates. The successful candidate will supervise the Center’s internship program, and oversee academic advising for the students in our Master’s Program.
