Job description:

• academic services in research and teaching in the field of Islamic Textual Studies (Qur’an and Hadith), especially in the field of hermeneutics and exegesis of the Qur’an
• participation in the organization of conferences and specialized publications
• participation in the acquisition of external funding
• work related to own academic qualification

Requirements:

• doctoral degree in Islamic Theology or Islamic Studies with excellent grades
• advanced knowledge of German, English, and Arabic
• knowledge of Turkish is preferred
• experience in research and teaching
• aptitude and motivation for independent interdisciplinary work
