Appel à propositions : “The Use of the Online Harmonized Household Surveys Data from Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia and Palestine” — LIMITE : 15/03/2014
The Economic Research Forum (ERF) is pleased to invite submissions of proposals under the topic of the Use of the Online Harmonized Household Surveys Data. Microdata from Household Income and Expenditure Surveys collected by National Statistical Offices of the MENA region have been, for the most part, very difficult to access by the research community.
To increase access to the data, ERF has made substantial investments in a major data gathering and harmonization project and has made enormous progress in making available these harmonized data sets to researchers through the ERF data portal www.erfdataportal.com. Capitalizing on the 20 harmonized datasets from four countries currently available online, namely from Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia and Palestine, we feel that it is the opportune time to encourage researchers to use this valuable data resource to enhance our understanding of a variety of economic and social issues relevant to the region.
Deadline for submissions: 15 March 2014.
